Madrid Long Term Swap for 2013

We are looking to swap our 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom apartment in Madrid Spain for an apartment in New York City (Manhattan).  I know Manhattan very well as I own an apartment there (East Village) but we need something bigger than a one bedroom.  Anyone interested, please let me know. 

Apartment is located in the exclusive and beautiful area of Salamanca.  High end shopping and top restaurants are located within walking distance (like living next to 5^th ave). Close to Retiro Park (our version of Central Park).  The area is wonderful for children as many smaller parks and playgrounds nearby.  Going to the tourist area is a 7 minute cab ride (as if you lived in the West Village and went to Times Square)

The American Embassy is five minutes away and we live across from the Italian Embassy.  Transportation in Madrid is cheap and plentiful with inexpensive taxis and metro (2 minute walk from apartment).  Outside terraces everywhere, Reebok gym within 5 minute walk, and fun bars and clubs in the area. 

We are in the heart of Madrid!  Airport is 20 minutes from our house and train station is 10 minutes, giving you access to all of Europe and Spain.  Weather is excellent all year round (a bit hot in August but Ibiza is a 45 minute plane ride).

We are a married couple who own a company which produces economic reports for the Wall Street Journal.  We work with our lap tops anywhere there is an internet connection.  I am from the US and my husband is Spanish. We own an apartment in NY (East Village) but it is not big enough to accommodate our new family.  We have recently had a son (18 months) and we would be bringing our full time (live in) nanny. 

We want to spend a year back in New York before our son goes to school.  We love Spain.  We are flexible but would love to do one year from Jan 2103 until the end of the year but again, we can work with dates.
